Social Forestry Program
by
introducing the World Bank’s global award winner, Indian patented
Solar/Wind powered portable greenhouse for reforestation

Systems Inc, Toronto, Canada are manufacturing and marketing
US & Canadian patented solar powered portable greenhouse to grow
seedlings of various types of trees and by hydroponics systems.

Foundation, a
Public Trust is appointed as a NGO to train
farmers and users of the technology and implement turn-key projects
developed by Greenfield Hydroponics Systems Inc.; and AquaGreen
Hydroponics Systems Pvt. Ltd. to create
employment.

THE PROJECT:
AquaGreen Hydroponics Systems Pvt.
Ltd. Ahmedabad / Greenfield Hydroponics Systems Inc., Canada, is
a supplier of Solar powered portable greenhouse, required pots and hand tools etc. Model GF1000 has the
capacity of growing one million seedlings per annum,
We at GREENFIELD
FOUNDATION are here to protect the forest, to represent and support the
forest sector, and assist and to speak in government for citizens and
citizen groups that are involved and concerned about the future of the
forests.
We will select two types
of trees for re-forestation program: (1) Trees for the development of
forests (2) Trees for construction work, burning wood etc., (3) Fruit
trees to create income.
Potting and planting can
be done manually, which can be a part of social forestry program to
generate employment for women mainly in the rural areas. Re-plantation
can be done only after certain amount of moisture is build up in the
forest soil.
Seedlings will be grown
in the portable greenhouse. After the root structure is developed, the
treys will be moved to growing area in solar photovoltaic powered shade
house and will be placed on the transportation carts till the monsoon
arrives.
Greenfield
Foundation
will provide necessary training, administrative tools to other NGOs or Greenfield
Foundation will employ women both for growing seedlings and for
re-plantation.
INCOME:
Based on the finance
available from the government departments, donations and income generated
the hired employees / sub-contractor will earn minimum income of Rs.
50.00 (Fifty) per person, per working day.
